Can anyone recommend any decent companies for cycle insurance for our upcoming 2 week tour of Sweden and Denmark? ;D ;D
Thanks... Paul

Paul :)Are you looking to insure the bikes or just travel insurance. If it is the latter Tesco offera good year round travel insurance this also covers you for uk tours etc. If you are looking to cover the bikes I suggest you go through the CTC. Hope this is of some use to you.

I got a quote from the CTC for general Cycle Insurance a few months ago. I had a few bikes stolen about 3 years ago and had claims records because of that. The Price they quoted me PER BIKE OR TRIKE seemed pretty extortionate so I didn't go with it. Don't know how their Travel Policy works so give them a call.

Whatever travel insurance you go for, check on the cover for personal possessions: usually this is not valid for goods on a bike or campsite or hostel (must be in locked room or car boot!), so exclude this and save 10% on the premium!
