Well I finally found the time to dust of the saddle and get myself out on Sunday first day off for a good while took myself for a good stretch on the tow path then returned over the rolling country side of Staffordshire it was great to get some air and exercise the old legs. Hoping to spend most of the Xmas break on two wheels (family permitting). good to see your picking your miles up Steve Good to see Butterfly back safe and sound from the USA Mark and Alan put us all to shame, I cant wait till summer when work is slow and the bike gets to take me on my travels speaking of travels do you think I should organize a touringcyclist forum ride would be nice to put names to faces and its just another excuse to get the tent out. Well as the subject says enjoy the Christmas season one and all. I do hope Santa brings my new saddle bag. Seasons Greetings Gary. PS Alan i sent you an email to your website address to help you with your spam problem any help?

Glad to know you are getting out on your bike. Thanks for the link to the anti-spam site, I am trialling Spamkiller at the moment but will look at yours is this fails to help. Why don't you link up to the Tramp Camping Forum meet in May? We are all cyclists and some of us post on both forums, so a joint meet would be good. Details at: z11.invisionfree.com/Tramp/index.php?showtopic=247Have a Merry Christmas yourself and all other forum members. Hope we all meet up sometime in 2007.

Yesterday I went on a training run - took the train to Sittingbourne (to chase up the CW Dec issue which is shamefully delayed) before cycling off to the Potterers Meet in the North Downs. Thick fog, white van man running no lights; 14 other idiots joined me in the Chequers (named after the beer made from medlars, we believe). Wood fires welcome! Nearly sunny on the way home but just caught the train again at Faversham so avoided the fog over the salt marshes!
