I've been wanting to give cycle-touring a try since I was a boy. But what with girls, rock music, photography, and family life, it's only now that I find myself with a willing son to try it out! ;D
We want to cycle the Kennet and Avon canal from Bath to Newbury/Reading. The intention is to try and take the train to one end, spend a couple of days riding the canal, and take the train home. Has anyone tried this before? How did you get on?
We want to try and stay at cheap B&B's, youth hostals, and any where cheap (in a nice way of course!).
If anyone could give us some advice as to any of the above, I would be most grateful.
