I apologise for not returning the thoughtful card thing! Been in a "Bit if a state" for a few weeks so I didn't check dates. Have a great one B.P. and I'll see you later in the year.

Thanks for asking Butterfly. Ups and downs a bit but I am just about coping and pretty determined to make the York weekend so I'll (If you're unlucky!) see you there.

Oh good! I'd be very sad to see your pitch empty.

Regarding York this weekend.... Not quite sure of things at the moment. I WILL be there but I might be taking the easy option and going on a folding bike, with the train to Leeds and do the last 25 miles each way. Means I would pack totally light and not carry much in the way of clothes and cooking gear. If I did go onthe Trice I would be setting off early on Wednesday morning with my Dad and doing it in three stages. Just not sure I am up to much riding yet.
Sorry to Alan for hijacking the thread by the way!

My cooking gear will consist of a titanium kettle/mug thingy and a tiny stove. I have absolutely no intention of cokking a single thing all weekend. (I might shove a couple of cuppa soups in for emergency rations!)
