Hi folks I shall be touring Mid wales shortly on my recumbent ICE T does any body know if the wayfarers pass from Cynwyd to Pentre is passable on a trice or will I have to break out the Dawes.

Sorry to correct you Gary but it is Berwyn.
The Pass condition changes very fast due to weather conditions and can alter daily. I would have thought with the amount of rain they have had it the area the Trice would give you a lot more problems. I have known trikes go over but I have never seen a recumbent.

It has to be remembered that the Ice T is made "From Girders!" My Dad has one and it is as tough as they come. Only negatives I could see would be of size of a trike footprint area if there are any narrow bits or stiles etc.

The track is worn to the bedrock - even a touring bike will need walking through in places. Can you carry the front end of the Trice for this? Even in the dry I think you will have difficulty with the Trice.
